Overview

Occupational therapy is skilled heath care profession which aims to promote health and wellbeing among individuals of all age group who are affected with physical, psychological, cognitive and social issues. It enables people to achieve maximum independence in self-care, work, leisure, community and family life.

BOT stands for Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. BOT medical course is based on the field of Occupational Therapy. Occupational Therapy deals with patients having physical, mental, emotional and neurological limitations. It aims at improving the life, condition and rehabilitation of such handicapped and limited people through different modes of treatments such as- exercises, functional training, aiding devices and equipment, ergonomic training and environmental restructuring & adaptation.

Eligibility

Pass in H.Sc/Equivalent with 12 years schooling form a recognized Board or University with Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Botany and Zoology)and English with Minimum of 40% of mark.

Age Limit for Admission

A Candidate should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or would complete the said age on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the B.SC. Medical Laboratory Technology.

4 Academic years of 8 semesters and 6 months compulsory Internship.
