NEET PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate) is an entrance exam in India for students seeking admission into MD, MS, DNB, and diploma programs in various medical colleges across the country. NEET-PG 2024
NEET-PG 2024 was conducted on 11th August, 2024 in two shifts for admission to MD/MS/DNB/Diploma Courses of 2024-25 admission session. The result of NEET-PG 2024 has been declared and can be seen at NBEMS websites https://natboard.edu.in/ and https://nbe.edu.in

The counseling process, which follows the result declaration, is crucial for seat allocation. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) handles the counseling for All India quota seats, while state quota counseling is conducted by the respective state authorities.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria
In accordance with the minimum qualifying/eligibility criteria for admission to MD/MS/DNB/Diploma Courses as mentioned in the Information Bulletin for NEETPG 2024, the cut-off percentile for various categories are as follows:

Merit Position – NEET-PG 2024
The merit position for All India 50% quota seats shall be declared separately. The final merit list/category wise merit list for State quota seats shall be generated by the States/UT as per their qualifying/eligibility criteria, applicable guidelines/regulations & reservation policy.

How to Check NEET PG 2024 Result?
- Visit the official website of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences at https://natboard.edu.in/ and https://nbe.edu.in/.
- Look for the link that reads, “Download NEET PG Result.”
- Enter the required credentials such as registration number, and password.
- Now click on the “Submit” button.
- Your NBE NEET PG scorecard will appear on the screen.
- Download the NEET PG Scorecard and take a printout of it for future reference.
NEET-PG 2024 Counselling Process
The NEET PG 2024 counselling process is the next step for candidates who have successfully qualified in the entrance exam. Here’s a general overview of the process:
Counselling Authority:
- All India Quota (AIQ) Seats: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts counselling for 50% of the AIQ seats. This includes seats in government institutions, central universities, deemed universities, and ESIC colleges.
- State Quota Seats: The remaining 50% of the state quota seats, along with seats in private colleges and universities, are handled by the respective state counseling authorities.
Counselling Process:
- Registration: Candidates must register online on the MCC website for AIQ counseling or on their respective state counseling portals for state quota counseling.
- Choice Filling and Locking: After registration, candidates can fill in their choices of colleges and courses. These choices must be locked within the given timeframe.
- Seat Allotment: Based on the rank, filled choices, and seat availability, seats are allotted to candidates. The results are published online, and candidates must download the allotment letter.
- Reporting to Allotted College: Candidates who receive a seat must report to the allotted college within the stipulated time for document verification and admission.
- Subsequent Rounds: If a candidate is not satisfied with the allotted seat or if seats remain vacant, subsequent rounds of counseling are conducted.
