TANUVAS Recruitment Notification – TANUVAS (The Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University) has released recruitment notification for filling up vacancies in various posts through walk-in interview. There is no exam for this TANUVAS recruitment 2024.
A walk-in interview will be conducted for the following positions Computer Specialist , Office Assistant , Project Manager , veterinarian, Project Associate , Project Associate -I posts.

1.Computer Specialist and Office Assistant – Walk-in interview

Essential Qualification – Computer Specialist
- Computer degree from a recognized university.
- At least > 5 years of experience in assisting with project management and coordination
- Experience with network configuration, web design, maintenance of C Panel control, and mobile app development
- Knowledge of PFMS and Operation of EAT in PFMS, GST filing, e-tendering, and government accounting knowledge is mandatory
Essential Qualification – Office Assistant
- Bachelor’s degree from a Recognized University .
- Basic computer knowledge .
- Typewriting certificate in English and Tamil (Senior Grade).
- At least TWO years of experience in assisting with project management and coordination

Candidates with duly filled-in application forms are requested to walk into TRPVB, 2nd Floor,
Central University Laboratory (CUL) Building, TANVUAS, Madhavaram Milk Colony,
Chennai-600 051, for the Written test and interview on 18/11/2024 at 10.00 AM with original
certificates in support of age, qualifications, Photo ID card, and experience certificate (if any)
- The filled-in application along with a copy of the supported documents to be submitted in person on the day of the written test and interview
- Working personnel are requested to attend the interview with No Objection letter from the present Employer
- The written exam will be one hour long with multiple-choice questions followed by a personal interview.

2.Veterinarian Post – Walk – in interview

Essential Qualification – Veterinarian
Bachelor degree in Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc. &A.H.,) from a recognized University.
Walk – in interview details – Veterinarian
Eligible candidates with full bio-data are requested to walk-in to Department of Veterinary Microbiology, Madras Veterinary College, TANUVAS, Chennai-600007 for a written test followed by interview for only short listed candidates on 22.11.2024 at 10.00 am with original certificates in support of age, qualifications, photo ID card, experience certificate and proofs for any other credentials.
The written exam would be for one-hour duration with multiple choice questions.
Note : The candidate should able to work both in field (Tiruvallur and Vellore districts) and laboratory (Madras Veterinary College)
The Selected candidates should able to collect samples for screening the large and small ruminants for bovine tuberculosis.
The Post is purely temporary for about 5 years and co-terminus with the project.

Essential Qualifications
Master’s degree in Veterinary / Animal Science / Fisheries in any subject or Master’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences with PG Diploma in Feed Manufacturing Technology or Bachelor’s Degree in Technology (B.Tech.) in Poultry Production Technology / Food Processing / Agricultural Engineering / Fisheries Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks.
Duration of the Post
Post Initially for three years. Further continuance will be based on performance assessment and functional needs of the project.
Duties and responsibilities
- To supervise, monitor and coordinate the operation & maintenance of the Feed and Fodder Technology unit.
- Procurement, feed evaluation, quality control
- To maintain stock / stores, accounts / reports etc.
- Teaching / research / extension / product development activities related to feed and fodder technology

Written test
- A written test in English will be conducted to shortlist the candidates. The syllabus includes feed and fodder technology, procurement methods, feed mill operation & maintenance, feed evaluation & quality control, value addition of feeds and fodders, inventory and marketing management, accounts and finance management etc.
- A minimum mark to be secured in the written test for attending the interview is 50 %.
- The pattern will be multiple choice questions for a duration of 45 minutes with maximum of 30 marks.
