The Tamil Nadu Paramedical Counselling Process is conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tamil Nadu, for admission into paramedical courses in both government and self-financing colleges.

The Selection Committee – Directorate of Medical Education DME, Tamil Nadu has released the tentative vacancy positions for Self financing Paramedical Colleges in Tamil Nadu for Paramedical Degree Courses 2024 – 2025 through Online Counselling.
The Self financing Paramedical Colleges is going to fill seats through Tamil Nadu Paramedical Online Counselling 2024.
Paramedical Courses in Self Financing Colleges
The Courses which are offered in Self Financing Paramedical Colleges through Paramedical Counselling are B.PHARM, B.SC., Nursing (Male) , B.SC., Nursing (Female) , Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT).
Essential Qualifications
B.Pharm – Passed in Higher Secondary Course with English as one of the subject and not less than 40 % aggregate marks.
a) Physics, Chemistry, Biology are mandatory subject (or)
b) Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology (or)
c) Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
B.Sc., Nursing – Passed in Higher Secondary Course with English as one of the subject and not less than 45 % aggregate marks.
(a) Physics, Chemistry, Biology are mandatory subject (or)
(b) Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
BPT / BOT – Passed in Higher Secondary Course with English as one of the subject
(a) Physics, Chemistry, Biology are mandatory subject (or)
(b) Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
Government Quota Seats in Self Financing Colleges
65% of total seats in Non-Minority Institution and 50% of total seats in Minority Institution, for each Para Medical Course in Self Financing institutions surrendered to Government Quota will be filled as per merit through Tamil Nadu Paramedical Counselling.

Note : If any modification in the Fee for 2024-2025 will be fixed by the Fee Fixation Committee and will be informed during / after Counseling. Counselling Process
Online Registration – Visit the official DME Tamil Nadu website tnmedicalselection.net. and fill out the online application form.
Application Fee – Pay the non-refundable application fee online.
Merit List Preparation – Based on the marks obtained in the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) subjects of the HSC examination. A rank list is published on the official website.
Online Counselling
- Login: Candidates log in to the counselling portal with their credentials.
- Choice Filling: Select preferred courses and colleges.
- Seat Allotment: Based on rank, category, and availability, seats are allotted.
- Confirmation: Candidates confirm the allotment and download the provisional allotment order
Tentative Vacancy Positions 2024
There will be an intake of 5820 B. Pharm Seats in 93 Self financing Paramedical Colleges in Tamil Nadu. The B.SC., Nursing (Male) has an intake of about 307 seats in 72 Self Financing Paramedical Colleges.
The B.SC., Nursing (Female) has an overall intake of about 9472 seats in 234 Self Financing Paramedical Nursing Colleges in Tamil Nadu through Paramedical Counselling 2024.
The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) Courses will be offered in 51 Self financing Paramedical colleges with an intake of 1995 BPT Seats through paramedical Counselling 2024-2025.
The Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) Course will be offered in 9 self financing colleges in Tamil Nadu for admission to 362 seats through TN Paramedical Counselling 2024.
