The Provisional Rank List for Paramedical Degree Courses in Tamil Nadu for 2024 has been published by the Directorate of Medical Education, Tamil Nadu. This list determines the ranking of candidates for admission to various paramedical programs such as B.Sc. Nursing, B.Pharm, and other allied health sciences courses.

Para Medical Degree Courses
The medical colleges in Tamil Nadu offer 19 paramedical courses including B.Sc. Nursing, B.Pharm, Radio Technology, Radiotherapy, Anaesthesia and Cardiac Technology.
These courses are typically offered by government and private institutions affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and other recognized bodies. The duration of these courses varies, generally ranging from 3 to 4 years, depending on the specialization.
There are 2,276 paramedical seats in government medical colleges and 13,832 paramedical seats under government quota in self-financing colleges.
Tamil Nadu Paramedical Counselling 2024
For the academic year 2024-2025, paramedical applications were received online from May 23 to June 26 for 19 types of 4-year degree courses including BSc Nursing, B.Pharm and BBT and for 6-year degree and 3-year degree courses called Pharm D.
The verification of applications has been completed and the rank list has been published. Accordingly, 68,108 applications were received for para medical degree courses, out of which 67,038 applications were accepted.
Pharm D
Of the 3,516 applications received, 3,463 applications were accepted for for Pharm D six-year degree courses
Of the 24 applications received for Pharm D three-year degree courses, 23 have been accepted.
