The Selection Committee , Directorate of Medical Education , Chennai has released the tentative Online Counselling Schedule for Paramedical Degree Courses for General Category and Special Category candidates only for Government Seats in Government Colleges.
The Tamil Nadu Paramedical Round 1 counselling schedule for 2024 has been released.
Application and Merit
Candidates need to apply online through the official portal. Admission is merit-based, considering marks in qualifying examinations (e.g., 12th-grade marks in science subjects)
Counseling Rounds
The first round includes online registration, payment, choice filling, and locking of preferences. Provisional allotment results are announced online. Candidates must download their allotment letters and report to their assigned institutions within the stipulated timeframe
Round 1 Online Counselling Schedule 2024
- Registration/ Payment, Choice Filling & Locking started on September 20, 2024, at 10:00 AM.
- The deadline for registration and choice locking is September 25, 2024, at 5:00 PM.
- The results of Round 1A Online Counselling released on September 27, 2024.
- Download of Provisional Allotment Order for Round 1A Counselling will be from September 28, 2024.
The allotted candidates should download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Medical College/Institution on or before 04-10-2024 upto 05.00 P.M.

Important Instructions for Students attending TN Paramedical Online Counselling 2024
- Students who are participating the online counselling for Paramedical Degree Courses will have to remit a non-refundable amount of Rs.250/- through online as a processing fee, via Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
- Students should be carefull while choice filling.
- Seat Vacancy Positions for the Paramedical Degree Courses will be available on the official website https://tnmedicalselection.net/
- The procedures for the online counselling will be published in the official website https://tnmedicalselection.net/
- Once the student locks his/her choice during the online counselling, it cannot be changed later. Request for change of Branch / College, from one to another is not permitted after an option has been exercised.
- A student who has taken a seat and not joined the course, he / she is not eligible to the subsequent rounds of online counselling.
- The student selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of the reporting to the concerned College. He / she is liable for forfeiture of selection / admission if suppression of facts, misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.
- The allotted students should download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Medical College/Institution on or before the stipulated date and time
- The students should produce their Original Certificates in person at the time of joining in their selected Colleges along with the scanned copy of original certificates to the concerned Colleges.
